Mixing honey and lemon was known not just because of its health benefits but also because it was actually delicious and refreshing.

With the rise of Korean Dramas, K-Pop idols, and Korean food here in the Philippines we’re not actually surprised that Korean drinks have also been popping here and there. This includes the Honey Lemon drink manufactured by Dong-A in South Korea.

The drink was launched earlier this year and now, we finally got the chance to try it.

This Korean drink was composed of 100% natural honey (extracted from the Chiak Mountain) and lemon juice.

The drink was sweet (as honey) with just a hint of lemon. It doesn’t have a sour taste as we have expected but it was indeed refreshing.

One time, while we are making homemade Iced Tea, we have decided to mix two cans of this drink to our Earl Grey Tea since we ran out of honey and it turned out good! We’re surprised when we learned that they actually concocted the same drink we’ve tried.

Aside from the Earl Grey Tea, you can also include this drink with your Ginger and Mint Tea, Key Lime Cucumber Tea, or even on your mojito. Just try mixing it with any of your favorite thirst quenchers instead of adding sugar.
