BTS-themed cafes in Metro Manila are popping up left and right (by Charlie Puth ft. Jung Kook 🎶). We know you want to visit all the BTS-themed cafes out there like we do but in case you needed to choose just one, here’s our ranking based on food, instagrammability, and overall experience.

Disclaimer: This is only based on our own personal experience and cafe ranking is limited to 7 BTS-themed cafes only.

Each cafe is definitely a must-visit but they are special in their own unique ways, and here we will help you choose which cafe is the best for you!

1. OT7 Purple Cafe

OT7 Purple Cafe easily ranked as no. 1 for us. Can we say that this is the mother of all BTS-themed cafes? I think this is also one of the BTS-themed cafes that easily trended for every ARMYS. This one is located at the “Culinary Capital of the Philippines”. That alone might answer why we are choosing this as our no. 1.

What We Like:

• BTS, BTS, BTS, BTS LITERALLY EVERYWHERE! There’s no single corner where you won’t see them. From the entrance, up to the restroom. Yup, even their restroom!
• This is like the SM of the BTS-themed cafes, the phrase “we got it all for you” perfectly fits this place. From BTS-themed car wash with matching billboards, cafe/restaurant, unlimited samgyupsal, BTS standees — LOTS OF IT, BTS merchandise displayed from BTS albums, BT21, TinyTan, and even the Artist-Made Collections are all here, complete! Mapapa-sana all ka na lang! This is your chance to see every BTS merchandise in the flesh and not in photos.
• Their Magic Shop has both official and unofficial BTS merchandise. Make sure to ready your wallets when you enter their Magic Shop!
• Foodies, this place is food heaven as expected! Korean food may not be something that originates in Pampanga but everything we tried here was delicious. As in you’ll want to keep on coming back for more (if only this place is near where I live. LOL.)
• All their staff was very accommodating even in the Magic Shop. They were all super nice and very patient with us while taking our order since we can’t decide immediately what we want. Their staff was very attentive too! I broke my chopsticks and without even asking, the staff gave me a new one. Very attentive!
• Love love their interior. Love their BTS Christmas Tree! Nahilo kami kaka-picture. Haha.

What Could Be Improved:

• They really do have a lot of standees but I wish they have one more Hobi standee sitting properly. Haha. They only have 1 J-Hope standee inside the cafe and it was sitting with feet up. As a Hobi stan, I’m begging you to make another standee. 🤭

Overall, this is the ultimate BTS Cafe that ARMYS should definitely visit. Ultimately, as in worth the drive! Plus you can go on a Pampanga food trip after.

2. Idol Cafe

This is one of the most famous BTS-themed cafes in Metro Manila and now, I know why. When it comes to food, they have the most variety and definitely the best food!

What We Like:

• They serve the most delicious food we have tried at BTS cafes in Manila.
• Lots of food choices! They offer a variety of dishes from snacks, sandwiches, soups, quesadillas, salads, burgers, pasta, and rice bowls. Typically, BTS cafes would serve pasta dishes and a few Korean foods only but they have lots of Korean food here which we really liked.
• For drinks, they basically have everything for both coffee and non-coffee lovers from frappe, hot, over-iced, cheese-tea, and milk tea.
• They have different kinds of standees and the interior was enough to make you feel the presence of BTS. I specifically love that they made the ARMY bombs as lights!
• They have a big screen to watch BTS while you eat.
• Don’t forget to visit and bring your phone in the restroom, even if you you’re not gonna pee, just go.
• Lastly, they have BTS bobble heads which you can get for every cold drink you order, just add Php 20!
• Staff were very accommodating too!

What Could Be Improved:

• Though we love its loud signage outside which makes the cafe easily spotted and it’s interior with lots of BTS merch, and standees, this is not the best cafe to take lots of photos. I mean we really love it but look at OT7 Purple Cafe and Purple Cafe to know what we mean. This is not really something that they should improve since I think that’s also the charm of their cafe.

In terms of BTS merch on-hand, they have quite a few including fanmade merchandise.

Overall, this is the type of BTS-themed Cafe that I would go back to over and over again to enjoy a delicious meal with BTS, my ARMY sisters, and friends. You can also easily invite your non-ARMY friends too because their food is that good.

3. 7 With You Cafe

If you are in for a 1 1/2 to 2-hour drive from Metro Manila, you should visit one of the newest BTS-themed cafes in Batangas, the 7 With You Cafe.

What We Like:

• The cafe displays the huge BT21 and BTS merch collection of the owner.
• Food are delicious and a must-try! I specifically love their 7 With You Waffle. Among the BTS cafes we’ve visited, they are the only ones serving BT21 waffles! Alsooo, their ice cream doesn’t seem to melt! OMG. I need that ice cream in my life! They are the only BTS cafe that served us food with ice cream that came in perfectly. As in super perfect! Even after I took some photos and videos, the ice cream was still firm, not melted. I felt like I burnt my tongue because it was too cold. Haha.
• So many BTS budols!!! The owners were live sellers of BTS merchandise until they built their dream cafe, the 7 With You Cafe. And yes, they offer A LOT of BTS merch at their cafe too but if you want to score great deals, you should watch their live selling! This is the BTS-themed cafe has the most merch.
• Great customer service! The owners were very hands-on and accommodating!

What Could Be Improved:

• Hhhmmm… I can’t think of anything. Haha. It was overall a perfect experience! So, yes, you should take that drive down the South to experience 7 With You Cafe.

4. Purple 7 Cafe

The biggest and most instagrammable BTS-themed cafe in Metro Manila.

What We Like:

• The biggest BTS-themed cafe we’ve discovered so far.
• They have the most BTS collection beautifully displayed on the 4-story building of the cafe.
• They have a floor (1st floor) where you can buy on-hand BTS merch.
• The 2nd floor is like a mini reception area where ARMY can have a seat and take photos.
• Each floor is different! The first floor is the entrance where you can buy BTS merch while the 2nd floor is like a mini reception area where Armys can have a seat or simply take photos. The 3rd and 4th floors are where Armys can enjoy a sumptuous meal.
• Basically, it was like a mini BTS museum and cafe in one!
• For the food, don’t miss out on their croffles!
• You can dine in with your bias but make sure to let other ARMYS borrow the standees too!
• The staff was also accommodating even though they are busy. We asked them to take a photo of us a couple of times and they were all very nice even though you can feel that they are a bit in a hurry. I admire them for their dedication to serving the food and taking requests from ARMYS!
• Lastly, they give away free photo cards for every food you order! Not an official photocard but you know, we ARMYS love those papels!

For BTS merch, they sure do have a lot to offer too!

What Could Be Improved:

• Food options are a bit limited to pasta, frappe, yogurt-based, espresso-based, milk-based, fruit tea, and soda.
• We’re not much a fan of their food but it tastes okay, typical cafe food. We would have enjoyed it better if they have more variety on their food options.

Overall, this is a must-visit cafe if you want lots of instagrammable photos.

5. Haruman Cafe

The coziest BTS-themed cafe in the Metro!

What We Like:

• Very cozy and work/study friendly. If you are looking for a spot where you can work and still fangirl over BTS in a cafe, this is the place to be!
• The cafe is not screaming BTS like the other cafes but you can feel BTS’ presence here.
• Very minimalist and stylish that even non-Army or cafe enthusiasts should visit.
• You can borrow the books displayed at the cafe to read. Just make sure to return it.
• A must-go-to if you just want to chill and have good food and coffee.  Instagrammable, small yet spacious.
• The owners of the cafe were really accommodating too!
• Went here with my ARMY sister and her non-ARMY workmates and they enjoyed it here too! Definitely a must-visit for cafe enthusiasts too!

What Could Be Improved:

• When we arrived, the cafe was closed. They weren’t able to update their social media accounts due to an emergency as explained by the owner when they arrived. They said that they didn’t also expect that someone would visit their cafe since they are just a small cafe. I would like to tell them that they are not just “a small cafe”. I am sure they put hard work to their cafe! Also, we may be the first ones to arrive there but there were also other customers that came afterwards. If you are planning to visit, especially if you are coming from a far place, make sure to contact them on their social media accounts just to be sure that they are open.
• Food items are limited to drinks, sandwiches, desserts, and pastries. Maybe this is also the reason why they didn’t expect people to come in early since we came for early lunch.
• Hoping they would add more items to their menu like pasta!
• Also hope that they make their food more available. At the time we went, they are out of strawberries (which I really love) so, everything with strawberries are not available too!

A place I would go back to if I want to stay in a cozy cafe with my friends or work while fangirling!

6. Cafe Euphoria

The first BTS-themed cafe in Batangas, Cafe Euphoria 7 where you can enjoy Korean food and BTS’ favorite food, or food seen BTS ate in In The Soop like V’s Hotteok, J-Hope’s Cheese Croffles, Grape Muscat, and even their favorite Ramyeon!

What We Like:

• They serve BTS’ favorite food or food that we have seen them eat in In The Soop or other shows.
• They have tons of BTS photos hanging at the cafe! Love love those photos! Pictures pa lang, busog ka na!
• They have cute cups where you can choose your bias!

What Could Be Improved:

• There are actually so many things I can say but you can read them in my full review here.
• I honestly like the dedication of its owner to improve their cafe and hopefully, they really did after our visit. The owner even reached out to me after reading the review I wrote for their cafe. We may not have that great experience here but I think their cafe is a must-visit too especially if you are in Batangas or near Batangas. Overall, this is a cafe you must visit if you are in Batangas or near Batangas and is looking for a BTS-themed cafe in the South.

7. Rkive Cafe

A must-visit for Namjoon stans!

What We Like:

• Though the cafe was named Rkive, our OT7 is here too!
• Minimalist and cute design. Specifically love their Christmas tree and RM’s corner!
• They also have standees! This cafe may be small but full of BTS!
• Love their Bunggeopang even though the ice cream was already melted when it was served to us.
• They have enough food options.

What Could Be Improved:

• They could improve their service. The staff was not that accommodating to us. They are actually the only BTS-themed cafe we went to that staff isn’t that accommodating. Not sure if it is because we came at around 7 pm and they are closing at 9 pm. Maybe they are already tired but it didn’t help with the customer experience for us.
• The place wasn’t full at the time we went but the place felt a bit cramped. Not sure if it is only because of the loud ARMYS sitting beside us, as in they were super loud, and noisy. Well, this is actually not their fault but I am just saying since it affected our overall experience. And the place indeed felt a bit cramped.
• Felt like our experience could have been better. We only went once, so I don’t know if we’re just unlucky.
• They only have side street parking so, this can be a problem if you are bringing a car.

Note: This review is a bit limited since we did not order their main dishes since we are still full from dining at Idol Cafe.

Oh, by the way, they also sell a few BTS merch here. I saw BTS Black Swan Pen here! OMG, it was so pretty!

Overall, I may not visit this cafe again due to our not-so-pleasant experience. But maybe I should give their other food a try? Not really sure. But of course, you should still visit their cafe if you want to try out their food or if you want to do BTS-cafe hopping like we did.

Other BTS-Themed Cafes

There are other BTS-themed cafes in Metro Manila that we haven’t visited yet like the one in Caloocan, Sampaloc, and the Spring Cafe in Makati.

Was supposed to visit Spring Cafe in Makati but their menu is only limited to coffee and the availability of their pastries and bread varies every day. You can check what’s available for the day on a Google form that you can access on their social media accounts. If you live quite far from here, you can just order online as they offer bottled coffee.

I think this is the end of our BTS cafe hopping in the Philippines. Maybe I will visit the other cafes too if I am near the area but these cafes are the ones on my list and I am very satisfied with my experience. Our next stop would be, BTS cafe in Korea? Magnate Cafe, BTS’ old dorm turned into a cafe, BTS’ favorite cafe during their pre-debut era — Yoojung Sikdang? Where else? That’s our goal and hopefully, we can do that soon!
