Tried another Baked Sushi and this time, it is more affordable than the first one we’ve tried.
Ordered this last minute again and mong the three online sellers that I messaged, she was the one to respond immediately. The Baked Sushi was available for pre-order but we’re lucky enough to have bought it last minute. The seller was very accommodating and we are just glad that it was available!
There were 3 variants available: Baked Kani Sushi, Baked Tuna Spicy Sushi, and Half Tuna Half Kani. We decided to order the Half Tuna Half Kani. It comes with one pack of nori sheets (10pcs). Based on experience, 10 pcs is not enough so, we’ve decided to add two more for Php 50 each.
It was still hot when it arrived at our house and it smells really good. I can say that the Baked Kani Sushi was good but just so-so. I am looking for more kani but it costs affordable so, I can’t complain more.
One thing I have noticed was that the Tuna Spicy Sushi was too saucy. The taste of the canned tuna in oil was evident. It tastes good, good enough for the price but not that much compared to the first Baked Sushi that we have tried. I just hope that they drain or lessen the oil and add more Kewpie to make it taste better and creamier.
The seller told us that it’s good for 2-3 persons but for me, it can feed up to 4 persons.
Price: Php 250
Table for: 3-4 persons
Food Rating: 3/5
Overall, if you are on a tight budget and looking for a Baked Sushi worth less than Php 300, this one is a good option. The quality was good but it was lacking more ingredients to satisfy our baked sushi cravings.
If you want to try this. their Baked Sushi is available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only. Delivery charge applies depending on your location.
I think they don’t have a FB page but you can find them on the Lucena Stay At H💚ME Market FB group.
Location: Rosario Village, Iyam, Lucena City
