If you are like us who loves to try all the Korean food you see in your favorite Korean dramas, Omo-Omo Korean-Japanese Mini Mart has got you covered! We recently discovered this mini mart and we’re glad that we’re able to find a lot of delicious food finds. Aside from Korean food, they also sell Japanese and even some Taiwanese food and drinks.
Upon entering the store, I instantly saw these BTS drinks which I saw from my ARMY friends. LOL.
We did not buy it. I just took a photo. Should I try it?
My sisters and I love noodles so, we kind of hoarded a few for us to try.
Because of this, we’re finally able to try the Ram-Don aka Jjapaguri which became famous because of the movie Parasite. If you haven’t tried it yet, just cook and mix the Jjapagetti with the Neoguri noodles in one pot. Add some steak for a complete experience!
Everything tastes good but everything tastes usual. We’re looking for the best Korean instant noodles out there so, if you know any brand, please leave a comment below. 🙂
Aside from the noodles, we also bought various drinks.
We bought Maxim Coffee (not photos, sorry!) which is one of the most famous instant coffee brands in South Korea. It has different flavors, but the most popular ones are Mocha Gold Mild and Original. These are also the only flavors I saw in their store.
We also tried other coffee brands. To be honest, we don’t know what coffee this is, my sister just wanted to try different coffee variants. Haha. This costs Php 95 and it definitely tastes good but was pricey, indeed.
Another random coffee finds! This one tastes good as well. I forgot the price but this one is cheaper than the previous one. We actually like this one better. Aside from its affordability, it tastes better as well.
Another drink that my sister picked randomly. It costs Php 52 each which is fair enough. It is a carbonated drink with fruit flavor. Both taste good but I like the green apple variant more.
At first, I thought this drink was also from Korea but the staff told us that this is from Taiwan. The size is bigger than Yakult and this one is more flavorful. I actually liked it better than Yakult.
We also love Korean ice cream even though it has always been expensive. Prices range from Php 50 to Php 100 but it was always worth it. Also, since we bought a lot, they give us a free insulated bag to keep our ice cream frozen! Yey!
@teybolforwan_ Love that insulated bag! What’s your favorite #KoreanIceCream?
I love everything but I found a new favorite which is the Greek Yogurt Ice Cream! I love greek yogurt and strawberry so this one was a real hit.
By the way, they also have this corner.
If you are also into having your own “Samgyup sa bahay” they also offer meat cuts and side dishes like kimchi, pickled radish, and a lot more! We’re also able to try their Kimchi but it wasn’t as good as the ones we have previously tried. We also tried their Frozen Mandu or the Korean Dumplings and it tastes good! You must try that one if you love Mandu. There are other frozen meats too but we only bought their samgyup meat and the mandu.
Since I was not able to take photos of everything, here is a short video I made. Also, you can visit their Facebook page if you want to know more before you go to visit them especially if you are looking for a particular item.
