Walked by a Zagu store while I was on my way home and decided to buy one since I remembered how Zagu was a thing before milk tea and Starbucks. This used to be one of my go-to drink when I have extra allowance way back in High School. I usually order their Cookies and Cream with crystals and I was planning to buy one as usual until I saw that they now have Pearl Milk Tea on their menu.

I was surprised and glad at the same time that they are continuously evolving by adding more flavors and keeping up with the current trend.

Zagu Pearl Milk Tea Shake – their black pearls were I think the same from how I remember it way back then, it is still delicious. I can also taste that distinct Zagu flavor but it is lacking in terms of milk tea. It tastes like a normal Zagu drink. Pricing point, “di ka na lugi” because it is still a shake and I think it would be unfair to compare it with the famous milk tea stores in our country.

If you are craving for Zagu or just on a budget, you can never go wrong with Zagu Pearl Shakes but for the Pearl Milk Tea, I think you can say pass on this one and save your budget on the real deal.

Calorie wise, not worth it.
