Terraz by Raintree Restaurants not only offers its customers fine dining experience at the heart of the busy district but also allows diners to experience global food fusion.
With its hotel-like and elegant ambiance, people think that food here is expensive but wait ’till you see their menu and see how big their servings are.
For starters, they have interesting salads that will surely hook your eye like this Pork Belly Salad.
Pork Belly Salad – yup! there’s a big chunk of pork belly on this salad served together with romaine lettuce, mango, jalapeno, coriander, garlic chips, spring onions, and pomelo. Oh, how I love this salad!

If you wanted to have some hot bowl of soup before proceeding with your main dish, they have a variety from German Potato, Roasted Cauliflower, Seafood Chowder, Light Chickpea, Tomato-Basil, Laksa, Frothy Mushroom, and even Ramen.
German Potato Soup – this potato soup was made together with buttermilk, bacon, onions, parsley, and sausage. Love the balance of flavors on this soup. Just the perfect way to heat up your tummy!

For the main dish!
Steak and Onions – pan seared rib-eye steak served with fried shoestring onions, fried pickled cucumber, and herbed fries. We love those fried shoestring onions and fries on this plate! The steak? Who doesn’t love steak? Had it medium rare and we’re sold!

Bicol Express – fried pork belly served in coconut milk, and green chili served with fried rice. It has the same taste as the usual Bicol Express, the only difference was the use of yellow ginger. We super love its rich flavor and just look at that plate!

Short Rib Goulash – braised Hungarian beef ribs with white onions and fried potatoes. Short ribs in a savory sauce, beat that!

Footlong Reuben Dog Sandwich – footlong cheese dog in a focaccia bun served with sauerkraut, caramelized onions, swiss cheese, sweet pickle relish, and herbed fries. For some, this can be shared by two persons depending on how big your appetite is. I would definitely recommend this as a filling snack. We’re also amused at how the fries’ crispness was maintained even after an hour.

All Meat Pizza – they have an ongoing pizza promo that you can avail. Unlike the other all-meat pizza that I have tried, this one had just the right amount of toppings that are not overwhelming yet very satisfying.

Every great meal shall end with dessert!
If you are a regular on other restaurants being managed by the Raintree Group of Restaurants, you will notice that most of their desserts are available here.
Warm Sticky Rice Pudding – vanilla-flavored cream rice served with stewed peaches as described on their menu but what came to our table was a bit different. There were corn instead of peaches. Well, maybe they should tell their customers about this next time to set expectations. I actually enjoyed this but I expected some peaches.
Price: Php 150

Carrot Cake – you can ask the staff for the available cakes.
Well, I don’t really eat carrot cakes so, I won’t rate this. My real target here was the chocolates on top and the ice cream. Haha.
Overall, the food was delicious and everything was reasonably priced given its big serving, location, and elegant ambiance. I specifically love their Bicol Express and All Meat Pizza and would highly recommend it.
