Have you heard of the famous cake shop in Lucena CIty which took over the internet for its unique dedication requests from its customers?
Susan Homemade Cakes has been one of my go-to cake shops and I already asked them to make me several cakes and they have not failed me so far.
For the 4th Year Anniversary of my blog, I have decided to celebrate it with a cake (a tea party cake) for the first time. And the first cake supplier that came to mind was them.
Of course, I looked for inspiration online with the help of a friend and we came up with this design.
It actually came out better than expected as they made the cake toppings or designs bigger.
Just look at those details!
I felt like I was not able to give justice to its beauty and tried taking other photos. Also, wanted it to have a Bridgerton feels but I don’t have such props. LOL. So, I just went for whatever I can find at home and decorated it with pastries and Butterfly Pea Tea from Celestea.

And yup, it’s a chocolate cake!
Though this one tastes good as well, we like their mocha and vanilla cake more. Also, one thing that we really like about their cakes is the sweetness level. Surprisingly, even their fondant is not too sweet which makes me want to eat more. Is that a bad thing? LOL.

I ordered the cake a week before and there were also times that I would order at the last minute like this one.
I asked them to make me this cake last minute and they were accomodating with my request. It was my first time ordering a cake with fresh flowers and I am happy that it came out just the way we wanted. Since we ordered it last minute, I forgot to tell them to put a name on it so, this was how it came out. The lettering was not very fitting with the overall design but that’s okay.
By the way, this cake was mocha flavor.

There were also times where they cannot accommodate my last-minute order. Haha. So, make sure to order ahead of time!
As our place is a bit far from their location, they charge us Php 100 for the delivery.
