No Brand is a popular Korean retail shop that opened its first branch here in the Philippines last November 2019. It offers food products such as frozen food, snacks, beverages, and non-food items such as beauty products, and home essentials.
I first tried one of their chocolates, the Caramel & Biscuit Choco Bar when a friend of mine sent me one for Christmas. It reminded me of one of my favorite childhood chocolates, Tofi Luk!

So, my sister went to their store to buy some of their products for us to try. I also researched what products to look for. My sister was able to find almost everything except for their Chocolate Chip Cookies which is quite famous. Btw, you can also order online on their website, no need to go to their store!
Luckily, we’re able to score some items at Buy 1 Take 1 at that time so we’re able to buy a few more items.
Here are the drinks that I specifically love from No Brand:
Chocolate Milk – creamy and chocolatey! This one is on my top list.
Price: Php 40
Table for: 190 ml
Drink Rating: 5/5
Banana Milk – this drink reminded me of Bingrae’s Banana Milk. It is milky, sweet and refreshing too!
Price: Php 40
Table for: 190 ml
Drink Rating: 5/5
Peach Soda – didn’t know that peach and soda can go hand-in-hand!
Price: Php 48
Table for: 350 ml
Drink Rating: 5/5
Watermelon Soda – while this one tends to taste a bit like medicine syrups, I actually like it. It is refreshing and I can taste the watermelon on it but I like the Peach Soda more.
Price: Php 48
Table for: 350 ml
Drink Rating: 3.5/5
Mojito – another refreshing drink you can enjoy alcohol-free.
Price: Php 48
Table for: 350 ml
Drink Rating: 3.5/5
Udon – got this for buy 1 take 1 and this one is actually good and is not too expensive, I mean it’s only Php 140 each. I like its noodles and its mild and savory broth.
Definitely, something I would buy again.
I would love to try it with added meat and toppings next time!
Price: Php 140
Table for: 1 pack (175g)
Food Rating: 5/5
Chocolate Noir – tried different types of chocolate available at No Brand and this one is the only one that I liked.
Also tried the 85% dark chocolate but it was too bitter to my liking. So, I think I am going to stick with this one and probably finish this in one sitting. LOL.
Price: Php 209
Table for: 1
Food Rating: 5/5
Custard Cup Cake – the box contains 12 pcs of fluffy cakes with custard cream inside.
Each piece was individually wrapped.
Upon opening the packaging, I can smell the fragrant pie. Each piece is a bit too small that I instantly ate a few pieces. It was indeeed fluffy and yes, it tastes good too.
Definitely, a sweet treat to indulge in! Though I agree, it is a bit expensive for a cup cake but it was definitely good.
Price: Php 221.25
Table for: 1
Food Rating: 5/5
Red Bean Mochi – been craving for mochi! Glad that they have it here as well. They offer a lot of flavors but we just had to choose which ones to try and went for this one.
The real treat!
It has the right amount of chewiness, stickiness, and flavor.
I would love to try the other flavors too!
Price: Php 98.75
Table for: 1
Food Rating: 5/5
Strawberry Mochi – another mochi from No Brand that’s worth trying. I Can’t actually choose between the two which one tastes better since they are of different flavors.
They are also equally delicious and have the right chewiness that I want in my mochi.
This one costs more than the other but this is the only brand that has a strawberry flavor. So, if you like strawberry like me, better get this one!
Price: Php 133.50
Table for: 35 g
Food Rating: 5/5
For chips, these Potato Chips are also well-known. I wanted to try all three flavors but the Sesame & Wasabi isn’t available.
Potato Chips Sour Cream & Onion – classic potato chips with sour cream and onion. These are not really thin slices of potato chips, it is a bit thick but I like it. Crunchy and delicious with a bit of tang from the sour cream. Definitely must-try!
Price: Php 67.50
Table for: 1
Food Rating: 4/5
Purple Sweet Potato Potato Chips – this is more unique than the previous one. I find it weird yet oddly satisfying. I mean, it tastes like real sweet potatoes. Sweet with a hint of saltiness. I can’t really explain since it’s oddly satisfying yet weird at the same time. Haha. Maybe it’s also because I’m not used to eating sweet potato chips.
Though I find this a bit weird, if you like purple sweet potatoes, this is definitely a must-try for you. Also, it is something that you don’t usually see in the grocery stores!
Price: Php 67.50
Table for: 1
Food Rating: 3.5/5
I also wanted to try their fruit tea but it is a bit too heavy for my sister to bring home so, we opted to not buying it. I think it is similar to my favorite Korean Honey Citron Tea but they have grapefruit, lemon, and citron tea. Would definitely love to try those as well, have you tried it? Let us know if it’s worth buying!
