Decided to try this hip cafe in Lucban, Pepe N Mary’s Specialty Coffee Shop and Pasalubong mostly because of its instagrammable interior. I wasn’t really expecting their food and drinks to be good since most of the cafes I have tried here are just so-so.
We arrived at the cafe at around 8:30 pm and we are glad that they still accommodated us enthusiastically even though they will be closing at 9:00 pm. So, we immediately ordered and glad that the staff was helpful. I was planning to order Matcha Latte since I don’t want to have tea on teabags. Glad that the staff informed us that they use loose-leaf so, I ordered Earl Grey Tea instead.
Earl Grey Tea – love that they use loose leaf tea and this one is perfectly steeped.
Love their teapots and cups too!

Jasmine Tea – this one tastes good as well and the price was really affordable.
By the way, they don’t offer sugar for free so you have to order it. Added some honey to pair with our tea for just Php 15 since I always have my tea with honey or sugar (if honey is not available).

My friends ordered coffee and the staff explained that they don’t recommend adding sugar to their coffee to experience its full flavor.
White Mocha – tried this and it tastes really good. This is one of the few moments that I wanted to order coffee for myself.
My friend wanted her coffee a bit sweet so, she added some honey.

I usually go for cakes and tea after having dinner but my friends still want something filling so, we ordered pizza and mozzarella sticks.
Tandoori Chicken Pizza – one of their bestselling pizza. Thick crust pizza topped with spicy Indian kebab, mango, and bell peppers. The kebab was spicy and flavorful balanced by the sweetness of the mangoes and the thick crust pizza.

The place was indeed instagrammable in every corner and we love its ambiance. A nice place to enjoy your coffee or tea alongside with some snacks or desserts. They also offer cakes but we’re not able to try it. The staff was also accommodating, she even explained to us how to perfectly enjoy our drinks and even gave us a bit background on where they get their coffee, which is in Benguet. I really love it when the staff does that, being enthusiastic while doing their work.
