It was for Father’s Day when my mother searched for a cake on Lucena Stay At Home Market’s Facebook Community. We wanted to have something new so, we took chance and ordered online. Besides, there were a lot of good reviews and people are ordering. I was not able to take a photo of the whole cake the first time but the following week, we’ve decided to order again. It was then that I’ve learned that the Moist Fudgy Chocolate Cake was on sale back then but she gladly offered me the cake for the same price. Yay!

This shot was taken the first we’re able to try their cake. It was already after two days when I tried it and they already put it on the fridge. It tastes really good for Php 290 and to be honest, I wasn’t expecting that much since I thought good ingredients would be a bit limited here in our province. And hello, it’s only Php 290 so, I wasn’t expecting that much. But it indeed exceeded my expectations. It was still moist, and fudgy even after 2 days.

After that week, we ordered again and I was finally able to see and have a taste of it, newly baked.

I did not expect it to be intensely chocolatey but the chocolate sauce was real! The sauce was dripping!

Also, I am sure that those are not Maltesers but it tastes good. The Cloud 9 was also something to look forward to. The wafer, on the other hand, is not crunchy as expected but it somewhat adds value to this cake plus it looks appealing.

The chocolate cake was indeed moist, fudgy, rich and has the right amount of sweetness

I did not do anything to make the chocolate drip on its side. It does its own job.

Aside from this round cake, they also have a smaller version which costs Php 120. They do meet-up in Pacific Mall and delivery with delivery charge depending on your location.

Also, I ordered a bit late at night but the owner still entertained me. She said that they only have the smaller version available for tomorrow but she can make a new one in the morning but it would be available after lunch. Plus points for that!

While writing this, I want to order for tomorrow! Haha.
