As usual, we are craving Korean food because of watching too much K-drama. Haha. So, here we are again on the lookout for the best Korean food we can find in our province. We’re specifically craving Korean Chicken so we looked for one offering it.
KoreYana Kitchen offer quite a lot on their menu and we’re glad that they also have fish cakes.
Eommukguk – finally! Fish cakes in broth! Been craving for this for a long time now. I used to buy fish cakes in Glorietta whenever I crave it. And yasss, didn’t actually expect it to look and taste the same. It was big and the broth was savory as well. It was actually a bit hard for me to finish one since we also ordered other food.
The fish cakes are available in 3 sticks for Php 120 and 6 sticks for Php 200 but you can also add per piece for Php 40.
This is best eaten while still hot and I’m glad that they delivered it hot even though they used a simple container.

Spicy Odeng – of course, we love fish cakes and we have to try the spicy version. This one tastes good as well and it wasn’t really bad especially for its price. I just had better tasting spicy fish cakes before and this one was so-so for me. It wasn’t that spicy as well which is a good thing for us since we don’t want super spicy food. Well, at least it did satisfy my cravings!

Classic Beef Bulgogi Kimbap Roll – this was really bitin!!! There were 5 of us in the house so, we only got to eat 2 pcs each. Ugghhh!!! Really love this one! We should’ve ordered two since it was so good. What you see in the photo is what you get and a really good-tasting kimbap roll. Love the dip that comes with it too!
Don’t skip on this one especially if you love kimbap.

Yangnyeom Chicken Poppers – we wanted to have Korean chicken but this is the only chicken they have on their menu. We weren’t actually expecting it to be literally as tiny as popcorn. We’re expecting it to be a bit bigger so we can better taste the chicken but since it was so small, it’s hard to taste the chicken meat given that it has breading. Not that it has a lot of breading but really, we find the chicken meat to be so tiny. The serving was big but we just wish that the chicken were a bit bigger at least.
The sauce was savory but yeah bigger bite-sized chicken poppers please, I want to taste the chicken meat. LOL.
The chicken poppers are available in spicy, sweet, and savory. You can also order it with rice and order it for lunch in your office or at home.
Price: Php 185
Table for: 3-4 persons

Overall, I am satisfied with their food except for the Chicken Poppers. I am very happy with their Kimbap, a really must-try on their menu! Will try their other food some other time and let you know what else tastes good!
