KathLon’s Kitchen launched its first products, Gourmet Tuyo (classic and spicy) last August 28, 2020, with the desire to bring good food with ease and to avoid noisome odor inside your house. The couple Kathleen and Marlon want to share the innate desire for classic Filipino food to every Filipino so, they have decided to invest in this superb mixture of special spices to be shared with all tuyo lovers despite this trying times.

Aside from the Gourmet Tuyo they have added one more product, the Gourmet Tinapa in Lemon.

Gourmet Tuyo in Olive Oil (Original) – whether you want your tuyo over rice or pasta, they got you covered! Their tuyo maybe not be something new in the market but this one is definitely one of the best out there.

Other than putting Gourmet Tuyo over rice, I actually like turning it into pasta. I just used what’s in the bottle and topped it with cheese. Also, since I love the carrots inside the bottle, I also added it to my pasta and surprisingly, masarap! Never thought that carrots would taste good on pasta too.

Gourmet Tuyo in Olive Oil (Spicy) – I am not a fan of anything too spicy so, I appreciate this one. It is not too spicy but if you want it spicier you can get the visible chili peppers inside the bottle.

A common question always being asked was, “malansa ba?” and the answer is no. Also, I don’t like carrots that much but if all carrots are like this one, it would be my favorite! Love those soft and flavorful carrots! Super bagay ng lasa! Yum!

Another tip, use it’s oil when making fried rice to add more flavor.

Gourmet Tinapa in Lemon – this is my first time trying out tinapa with lemon. Thought it wouldn’t be any different with the other gourmet tinapa out there but I was wrong.

I really loved that refreshing lemon twist on this tinapa! I liked eating this over rice and I think it would also be great on pasta too.
