A group of young professionals had been looking for a fancy way to upgrade our favorite sorbetes or dirty ice cream while strolling in the mall. So, they have decided to give our traditional sorbetes a twist.
Dough Creamery serves a milky, soft-serve ice cream with unique dough creations. You can have the latter in spindle — their own version of the ice cream cone, ice dog or waffle — their own version of our favorite sorbetes in monay (bread bun). All of which, you can have in plain, special or premium.
The plain one was served with your choice of dough, and soft-serve. For the special, you can choose one flavor from chocolate, blueberry, ube, cheddar, peanut butter or caramel. And for the premium, you can choose among peanut butter and blueberry jelly, peanut butter, and chocolate, caramel apple, or choco banana.

Plain: Php 70
Special: Php 99
Premium: Php 119
Spindle – soft-serve ice cream served which comes in a glazed, flash-fried bread cone. It was a bit hard to grip because of its shape, though they gave out a spoon to help you eat your ice cream. I love all their flavors, though I wish it would also be available on the soft-serve, not just inside the bread cone.

Waffle Pop – fluffy and light waffles with soft serve ice cream on the side. This one is my personal favourite because I really like how the warmth of the waffle was complementing the cold ice-cream. A must-try among their flavors were the caramel apple flavor and peanut butter and blueberry jelly. If I were to go back to this place, I would definitely have this again.

Aside from the soft-serve ice creams, they also offer Cream Soda and Floatea.
Cream Soda – you can choose from 4 different flavors: the matcha, black currant, wildberry, and passion fruit. They make their own cream soda and my favorite was definitely the wildberry.
Price: Php 99

Floatea – freshly brewed tea made with premium Taiwanese tea leaves topped with milky soft-serve. The tea flavor was great but I just wish that there was more ice cream to make it creamier.

To be honest, I find it a bit expensive for soft-serve ice cream but I would definitely go back for their Waffle Pop!

Dietitian’s Corner:
- The traditional variation of ice cream made in the Philippines coined as “dirty ice cream” or “sorbetes”, which is sold in the streets by peddling of the hawkers, or also known as “sorbeteros”.
- Sorbetes is normally served in either wafer cone, sugar cone, or a bread bun but nowadays, it is also being served in cups.
- Sorbetes normally uses coconut milk or carabao’s milk, instead of cow’s milk, which is normally being used by Americans in making their ice cream.
- Soft-serve ice cream uses the same ingredients as the regular ice cream but it has less milk fat. Softer and less dense because of the air being introduced during freezing.
- Soft-serve ice cream is usually served at -12°C while ice cream is usually served at -6°.

It’s not at all simplistic to just choose to be handing out techniques which often other folks may have been making money from. So we see we have the writer to give thanks to for that. Most of the explanations you’ve made, the straightforward blog menu, the friendships you can assist to foster – it is everything unbelievable, and it’s assisting our son and our family reckon that this concept is interesting, which is especially serious. Thank you for all the pieces!
