Alabang is known as the business district of the South. Working in Alabang way back then made me enjoy working in a city where there are trees surrounding the streets and a place where you can still breathe fresh air. And of course, the place is also surrounded by a lot of food destinations – restaurants and hotels. That’s why when we got invited for a Meet and Eat Foodie Event at B Hotel’s Prime Café, we have no hesitations and went down the south immediately.
B Hotel Alabang is a premier 4-star hotel managed by Bellevue Hotels and Resorts, a perfect place to go for your next staycation. Aside from its comfortable and cozy room, you can also enjoy their outdoor hot tub with perfectly warm water during the rainy season, and refreshingly cool water during summer. Fitness junkies can also spend some time in the hotel gym and do their work out routine. While foodies can go ahead and enjoy the hotel’s dining outlets.
Prime Café offers a diverse selection of traditional local dishes from across the different regions of the Philippines. Some of which are their bestselling crispy Sizzling Sisig from Pampanga, perfectly char-grilled Chicken Inasal from Bacolod, and tender Beef Salpicao. The hotel’s main dining outlet also features Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Italian, and Mexican cuisines among others. They also have the classic American favorite – patty and fresh vegetables in a soft sweet bun. Aside from that, you can also enjoy their grilled prime steaks from Johnny’s Steak and Grill which became an instant favorite for almost all of us in there.
We believe that all endings must be sweet so, you can head on over to their Pastry Corner after a sumptuous meal. This little nook was where all the freshly baked goodies and barista specials are located. Our favorite was their chocolate and fruit tarts. Other must-try from their menu includes the Belgian Chocolate Cake, and German Chocolate Cake, and Leche Flan, Ube, Chocolate, Plain, and other limited edition flavors of the coffee shop’s signature ensaymada.
Their café offers San Valley wine for Php 800 per bottle. They also offer unlimited beers, mojitos, or sangria for only Php 550 per person during Happy Hour. This is available daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
They also have live entertainment at Prime Café’s Bistro Nights every Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM which we definitely enjoyed.
