Coffee lovers out there have been missing their favorite coffee shops since the lockdown. During the lockdown, a lot of people started signing up in this famous video-sharing app, TikTok. One day, a barista shared a video on how to make the Dalgona Coffee and pooped! It has been continuously trending with people making their own versions and sharing it on social media.

I was happy when I saw the non-caffeinated version of this drink which is the Dalgona Milo. So, I immediately tried it but with everyone saying that the Dalgona Coffee was really good, I decided to give in and try what this madness is all about.

Since I still have no fresh milk, I have decided to use powdered milk just like what I did with my Dalgona Milo.

Ingredients:
2 tbsp Instant Coffee
2 tbsp Sugar
3 tbsp Powdered Milk
220 ml Water
Ice

Procedure:
1. Mix the instant coffee, sugar, and water.
2. Whisk until the mixture becomes cloud-like and foamy.
3. In a glass, dissolve powdered milk in water.
4. Add ice and top with whipped coffee.
5. Enjoy!

Since I don’t have a hand mixer, I whisked it manually and I have noticed that it is easier to have a foamy texture using these ingredients than using milo.

I also noticed that having it manually whisked will not result in a super foamy texture that you can see online that’s why the mixture looks a bit small when transferred on the glass. Nevertheless, I think it still does taste the same!

Enjoy your own Dalgona Coffee which you can tweak according to your preference and feel like you’re having it in your favorite coffee shop! Also, why not pair it with some Grilled Cheese Sandwich?
