Since they are back online, we can’t miss this opportunity! Good thing they have an ongoing promo — discounted cakes and 1+1 promo on their bread and pastries (‘TIL JULY 31 ONLY!)
I have mentioned in my previous blog about Chaplin that I really love their melt-in-your-mouth Crumble Cheesecake and of course I have to try it again after two years! Let’s see if they have maintained the quality that I loved way back.
As you can see on my Instagram post, the cake was served with whipped cream. Now, since they only do online selling, it is best to buy your own whipping cream to go with your Crumble Cheesecake. If you’re not much into whipping creams, it is okay to skip on this.

Crumble Cheesecake – this no-bake cheesecake has mixed cheeses and crumbs. Melt-in-your-mouth cheesecake goodness which is best eaten with whipping cream. The contrast of the crumbs against the soft cheesecake is definitely the best. Yum!

Triple Chocolate Cake – just as I thought that their Crumble Cheesecake is already the best, here comes their Triple Chocolate Cake. This cake is pure heaven for chocolate lovers like me!
You can really taste the three chocolate layers made with dark, white, and milk Auro Chocolate. Most people would think that this is a bit too sweet but the white chocolate In the middle balances everything. Also, it was tender, very moist, and springy! Definitely another must-try from Chaplin!

White Chocolate Oreo – another cake goodness made with layers of moist Auro Chocolate and french whipping cream sprinkled with Oreo Cookie crumbs. The cake is also not super chocolatey and overly sweet as expected.
Guess, you’ll never really go wrong with Oreo!

Lemon Pie – if you wanted to have a break on your usual chocolate cake or sweets craving, try this Lemon Pie! The zesty kick of lemon gives that fresh, light, and citrusy taste which goes well with the creamy texture in the pie.
Simple yet so good! Also, look at that presentation, so cute!

Peanut Butter Pie – for me this has the most unexpected taste, in a good way, of course. Every pie and peanut butter fans will surely go crazy about this.
It has an irresistible layer of Skippy peanut butter with french whipping cream in one delectable pie. The sweet, and nutty peanut butter mellows next to the soft chocolate mousse.
A peanut butter pie reimagined into an elegant dessert!

Lava Cake – the cake was served frozen upon delivery so make sure to reheat it for 30 minutes in the microwave or 2 minutes in the oven with 170 °C to enjoy the lava explosion!
You can actually eat it without reheating it. It was still moist, tender around the edges, and has an ooey-gooey rich and thick lava filling. You may not enjoy the lava explosion if you did not reheat this but it will still taste as awesome!
I did not reheat it since we don’t have a microwave and our oven is too big for this. Nevertheless, it’s still a 5/5 for me, what more if I was able to reheat it?

Apple Pie – this was one of the most classic desserts at Chaplin. Made with sweet apples that are mounded in a flaky crust. A light and delicious treat!
They have noted that this heartwarming dessert goes great with a scoop of ice cream. But for me, this goes well with my afternoon tea.

I love all their cakes and if I were to choose my favorites, it would be their Triple Chocolate Cake and Crumble Cheesecake since I love chocolates and cheesecakes! The other cakes are equally as good but would order them depending on my mood.
Before I proceed with their pastries, I also noticed that the prices are also expensive but the good thing is most of it was on 1+1 promo. Let’s see if it was also worth it.
Butter Croissant – I really love croissant and I am glad that this one is on promo!
This is their take on the classic French pastry rolled and shaped into a crescent.
Light, airy, and buttery, with a hint of sweetness and a little bit of a yeasty, stretchy texture. To simply describe it, a perfect croissant for me.

Feta Cheese Bourekas – a baked puff and savory pastry made with real french butter stuffed with feta cheese. It was creamy and slightly sweet. Another perfect companion for my afternoon tea!
They also have beef, mashed potato, and spinach and cheese variant.

Pan Au Chocolate – ordered this simply because chocolate. Haha.
It was also flaky with buttery crispness and melted chocolate.
Simple yet decadent!

Ratings for the pastries are actually 5/5 in terms of taste and quality but since I find the regular price too expensive, I gave it a 4/5.
Glad I was able to able to try their products on promotion. Sadly, the promo ends today but I assure you, this is worth every penny especially their cakes! By the way, their bestsellers include Crumble Cheesecake, Triple Chocolate Cake, Lava Cake, and Spinach Parmesan Bourekas.
