I love Serenitea and it was listed on my top favorite milk tea shops in Metro Manila in 2019. It is still one of my favorites and I got excited when I saw that they have a collaboration with Auro Chocolate. An internationally awarded premium bean-to-bar chocolate brand that is proudly Filipino. Recently, they have collaborated with The Lost Bread and Hapag to create over-the-top unique ice cream creations. I have yet to try those since I can’t buy it here in our province but I am hoping that they would make it available in other areas too before they phase out the product. LOL.
Good thing, Serenitea collaborated with them to create yet another unique creation — Chocolate Tea Bars! Take note that these products would only be available ’till December 31, 2020. It is only available on Serenitea’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada. If you are planning to buy it in one of their stores, make sure to make special arrangements as it can only be bought by request. Delivery of products bought online is available within Metro Manila only and special arrangements are only available for their branches in Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas.
The limited-edition chocolate tea bars are a combination of Serenitea’s signature drinks and Auro chocolate’s cacao which are sourced directly from Davao farmers. There are two flavors available: the Earl Grey Milk Chocolate with Sunflower Seeds and Matcha White Chocolate with Pili Nuts.
Earl Grey Milk Chocolate with Sunflower Seeds – I love Earl Grey Tea that’s why I have high expectations on this one and it did not disappoint. The unique combination of earl grey, white chocolate, and sunflower seeds was surely a perfect combo.
I’m super in love with this one and would definitely buy this again. Now, I am thinking of having a hot earl grey tea with sunflower seeds!

Matcha White Chocolate with Pili Nuts – disclaimer, I am not into matcha that much but I definitely love this one! I was actually expecting that the matcha flavor would overpower the white chocolate and pili nuts but it doesn’t. It has a creamy matcha-flavor with a nutty crunch. And yes, it is more creamy than nutty. So, if you’re a fan of Serenitea’s matcha drinks, you should try this one.

I love these chocolate tea bars but I would have to say that these are rather expensive for a 27 g chocolate. Well, given the quality and taste, it was definitely worth it but still so BITIN! Why can’t they make it bigger?
By the way, I also like that they pack the chocolates in a thermal pouch to prevent it from melting.
