If you are looking for good ‘ol burgers and fries in Lucena, this is one of the places that you should go to.
Dadbod offers a selection of burgers, chicken and hotdog sandwiches, sides, rice meals, and beverages. Simply everything you need to satisfy your burger cravings. Or a perfect merienda treat while working at home.
I already tried them even before the pandemic but I haven’t dined in with them. Anyway, here’s what we had ordered this time.
The Smokey Burger: Smog
Smoked bacon with sauteed onions, and button mushrooms, drizzled with cheese and barbecue sauce.
As expected, it was good though it may not look like it since they used foil as packaging and the burger was a bit out of shape. Still super good!
All their burgers are available in quarter and half-pound sizes.

Shawarma + Burger: Derks
Shawarma with burger, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, cheddar cheese, and Dadbod Derk sauce.
Something that sounds a bit new but still a good ‘ol burger. Would definitely order this again next time too. Love that bit of crisp on the side of the burger too.

Chickbod Sandwich
Crispy chicken fillet with herb mayo, and lettuce on a toasted bun.
It is what it is and I love that the chicken fillet is big enough for the bread.

Cheesy Fries
Though I didn’t like the way they packed it — covered in foil and messy, we still like it. It was overloaded with cheese. Though the fries were no longer crispy since it was for take-out.
Will still order this again but would request to separate the cheese next time so, it would not be that messy and at least retain a bit of the fries’ crispness.

Buffed Nachos
Tortilla chips with Dadbod’s chili con carne covered in melted cheese.
This one tastes good too but not gonna order this again for take-out. We didn’t totally enjoy it since the nachos were already soft. Using foil to cover this is also not a good idea.

Overall, we love everything here and would definitely order again and again. As for their packaging, using foil for the burgers is fine but I hope they can come up with something else when packing their fries and nachos. At least make a better experience for us who love taking out. Other than that, everything went smooth from ordering and picking up our order.
