I really love cakes and sweets and it was one thing that I have been craving for since the start of the community quarantine. To satisfy my cravings, I made Mango Graham, and Cookies and Cream Graham Ref Cake. Of course, it was nothing like the real thing so, I searched online and found Susan’s Homemade Cakes through a friend.

It was my sister’s birthday so, I have a reason to order a cake! Yay!

I ordered their small Mocha Cake. The cake design was simple and I wasn’t expecting that much. At first, I was decided to get just a slice but the cake was good enough for me to take another slice. I love their icing which was not too sweet! Other cakes I have tried here have overwhelmingly sweet icings. Parents approved!

My mother also commented that the icing to cake ratio was not too thick compared to other cakes we have tried here in Lucena.

I even enjoyed it for breakfast with a cup of tea! It was good enough for me to have it for breakfast. Simply worth the calories!

Since we are under ECQ, they only accept orders for pick-up or booked through a third-party delivery service. Also, they only offer the Dedication Cake for now, due to limited supplies.

The dedication cake is available in small, medium, and large sizes that come in rectangular and round shape. For the flavors, they have plain, mocha, and chocolate. Price starts at Php 400 for their small plain cake.
